Nick grew up in Cornwall and loves everything about the coastline, its communities and environment. In fact it’s what inspires most of his photography. Not only is he passionate about documenting lives in and around this diverse part of the country, but how it’s changing day to day and mindful of the impact we are having on it environmentally. With the sea levels expected now to dramatically rise within our lifetime, many of the beaches, coves and villages will change forever or even maybe lost to the sea.

His success professionally continues to grow starting with an honours degree in photography, he is an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society and has exhibited and sold his work internationally.

Nicks work is a cooking pot of documentary, street and landscape photography. Working almost exclusively in Monochrome (black and white) his images are food for the imagination, leaving the viewer to fill in the colour with their minds.

More than creating, engaging images, Nick is also a passionate advocate of how powerful photography can be as a tool to refocus the mind and provide a creative outlet. This practice encourages an individual too simplify, slow down, connect and communicate with the scene while focusing on really seeing.

Naturally a creative and inquisitive mind, he is often found roaming the coast looking for new places with a coffee & camera in hand.
