B(ack)-Roads
B(ack) Roads: Is a transformative photographic journey into the creative mind and the transformative journey of overcoming neurodiversity through motorcycle road trips across Britain's scenic landscapes. By immersing in the freedom of riding, the project aims to awaken dormant joy within individuals.
Drawing inspiration from "The Dharma Bums" by Jack Kerouac, it explores the therapeutic aspects of motorcycling, documenting encounters with fellow adventurers and locals. Through vibrant analogue and digital imagery capturing the changing hues of the sky and dynamic landscapes, the project symbolises the emotional journey from darkness to light.
By raising awareness about mental health and encouraging others to find solace in adventure and self-exploration, the project aims to inspire viewers to seek their own paths towards healing and rediscovering joy. Ultimately, it highlights the beauty and transformative potential of the open road as a guiding light towards a brighter future.
